Letter from William Bewick to Mr. Green regarding the exhibition of two pictures: a portrait of the artist Daniel Maclise and 'The Mask Removed'.

Mr. Bewick will thank Mr. Green if he will take charge of his two pictures at the R. Academy - one a portrait of Mr. Maclise and the other is called "The Mask removed" [underlined] - but he does not remember the No.s nor has he a catalogue at hand. He will be good enough to send them to the exhibition at Manchester with his usual care, and the quotation can be copied out of the R.A. catalogue. The price of the Mask removed is 50 Guineas.

Mr Bewick would have sent before but he has been extremely ill & confined to his bed here, nor did he know of the exact day of sending for the pictures until this moment.

He thinks that the quotations [indec] for those pictures that he has got to be sent to Birmingham. Mr Green will have rec? if not, W.B. will send them if he will let him know.
