Description
Another civilisation that I feel close to. My great uncle was a missionary in China and Tibet, I knew Gladys Aylward who wrote 'The Little Woman', made into the film 'The Inn of the Sixth Happiness', the story of her life as a missionary there, and our daughter-in-law is Chinese.
Many of the items in the collection and in my personal one are what I inherited from my great-uncle Being interested in calligraphy, the scrolls are of particular importance to me and I have written articles on the subject of the Chinese script and its affinity to nature.
